Last night didn't look overly promising to start as we watched a strong southerly fade and the standard quiet night on the water was predicated. However, we were happily incorrect and a good Northerly filled in giving us solid breeze in the 7-9 range and more at times up to around 12-14 knots in some gusts. Enough to catch many off guard if they weren't looking behind them, and plenty of swimming was done tonight. The right seemed to pay more often with the port tack being the long tack though if you dug in to the left long enough you could come out of the mooring field with some speed and often times a boat from the left was leading at the weather mark. Downwind the west side(left looking upwind) of the course had some good puffs so heading to the shore was working for Will Warlick and others. Thanks to Wyatt, Walter, and the rest of the race committee team for running some fun races tonight. Congrats to Aaron who joined us last week for his first time and tonight raced his new to him boat. Welcome to Kevin who joined us for the first time tonight and is on the hunt for a boat this week.
