Tuesday Night 6/30 Laser Racing Recap, Photos, & Scores
2020 Results to date: Laser Fleet and Elliot Fleet
Cooler weather and recent snow didn't scare off seventeen intrepid Laser sailors including a hopeful future addition to the fleet, Aaron Puri, who borrowed a PCSA boat tonight and potentially will race his own next week, welcome Aaron! Four races were run Tuesday night in a moderate southerly which thanks to the system actually held all night and provided us with breeze around 5-7 with puffs close to ten during the racing and some fun sleigh rides between races with reaching contests. The right seemed to pay off most of the night but the easterly lane downwind, especially later in the evening, had some good breeze and racers up front got chased down. Thanks to Wyatt Pike and Walter Tierney for setting some fun courses including a double lapper on the last race. Congratulations go to Scott Vermerris who won the night. Fun fact: all five race nights so far have had a different winner.

Racers, don't forget to chip in to help with the Race Committee fee. We like hired RC so that we can all race and Wyatt is in college so help a guy out. Please bring Chuck $25 for the Spring season if you haven't already or just get it over with and throw him $50 and he won't bug you the rest of the season, at least about RC money.
Next Tuesday night is July 7th. Let's make it a huge night of Lasers! It's the perfect time. The warmth should be back, most of us are here for July 4th, let's go for a new record of thirty boats racing!
